PC [polycarbonate]
PC (polycarbonate) is an amorphous engineering plastic, one of the thermoplastics that can maintain strength, toughness and dimensional stability in a wide temperature range. It has exceptional impact resistance, and the polycarbonate is not affected at 140℉ (60℃) water temperature. It can be used in boiling water under limited conditions.Polycarbonate is unaffected by fats, oils, detergents, aliphatic hydrocarbons, most inorganic acids and higher alcohols.Polycarbonate is susceptible to chlorination and aromatic hydrocarbons, as well as most aromatic solvents, esters, and ketones.The color of the polycarbonate is water transparent and 90% white.Polycarbonate has good balance in mechanical properties and electrical properties, and the material is transparent and shows self-digestibility, so it is widely used in electrical and electronic fields, automobile, medical fields and other fields.
